When I started this photography journey of mine, she was there from me from day Zero. Commenting every photo, participating in brain storming about upcoming photo shoots, rooting for me when I was feeling down, posing for me in the raging blizzard… Whatever it took to help me follow my dream. So when she told me she and Ed are tying the knot, I kept my fingers crossed for them to choose me as their photographer. And they did.
Last year Ivana wanted to surprise Ed for his 30th birthday; she wanted to give him something special, something no one ever gave him before. And she wanted to do it because he always surprises her with small gifts and fulfils her every wish (even if it means brining her a glass of water to bed after they are both tucked in under the blankets; and we all know how big that sacrifice is, don’t we?). So months before his birthday, she begun to take notes about things he loves and uses and would like to have one day. And when his birthday came, he got 30 little gifts with notes attached to them. All sorts of things were wrapped in front of him: cereal and chocolate milk for breakfast, pills for after-party-headache, hand printed roll of toilet paper with Sudoku and one “big” gift – THE watch… She also wrote him a letter (real letter on a piece of paper written with a pen; a rarity in today’s world) and although I know what it said, I will keep my mouth shut 🙂
He swept her of her feet. Literally.
Handsom folks, aren’t they? You can’t argue me on that.
Since they both train for trek races (you know, running 45 kilometres across the mountains in a given trail, finding check points and doing it all in a given time – piece of cake for them; I, on the other side, got tired simply by listening to them talk about their last race), nature is like a home away from home to them so we went to Bundek for our second location:
These two are getting married on the 20th; after I saw THE dress, the venue and their chemistry in front of the camera, I’m more impatient about their wedding then they are. Or so it seems to me 🙂
Enjoy the weekend!
